WardPulse should collect only data necessary for its civic, learning, verification and account functions. Public political records and self-submitted profile information must remain distinguishable from private account information.
Core rules
- Do not publish private identity documents submitted for verification.
- Do not sell personal phone numbers, email addresses or raw respondent identities.
- Use aggregated survey and polling intelligence for reporting.
- Record consent for optional communications and data uses.
- Provide a correction/reporting workflow for inaccurate, outdated, impersonating or privacy-invasive content.
- Define retention periods before production launch and document processor/controller responsibilities.
